Inspiration 97.9 KCMR FM is hosting our annual Fall Sharathon October 21st and 22nd.
Things will look a little different this year. Supporters will still be able to call into the station (641-424-9300) from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. both days to make their pledges. There is also the option to donate online at www.kcmrfm.com or mail a check to KCMR Radio, 316 North Federal Avenue, Mason City, IA, 50401.
Our “Listener Appreciation” Event is changing locations! This year, we are working with our friends at The Music Man Square. We’ll be there from 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. on Wednesday, October 21st and from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M on Thursday, October 22nd.
The space is perfect for this event and will help us to ensure everyone’s safety concerning the Covid-19 pandemic. Masks are highly encouraged and there will be some available at the door as needed. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the building, with a focus on setting up so everyone can enjoy a socially distanced experience!
We’re switching our traditional silent auction for a raffle. We’ve got dozens of prizes – including gift certificates from local businesses, homemade goods, and other donated items we’re assembling into gift baskets. With the value of some prizes over $400. Tickets for the raffle will be $1 each, or 6 for $5.
Our free luncheon will be Thursday the 22nd at noon. We’ll be offering a limited amount of boxed lunches to help with social distancing and to encourage people to take them with them as they go.
